Keep it and upgrade the RAM yourself. It's much cheaper.
Do this. Check out OWC or Newegg.

Thanks for all the responses. I've heard good things about Linotypes Font Explorer, so I might have a look at that for my system, as Suitcase is becoming a pain to use!

It also doesn't need air because it just sits at the bottom of the water filled bucket and floats/crawls around.

Very nice!
I bought the Apple sport case for mine, which is really nice, too.
No lanyard attachment, or did I miss something?
And to the aforementioned poster, try and lighten up a bit. :)

That looks pretty cool, although I'd agree I'd like to see pictures of all the angles, with the kickstand in and out etc.
I enjoy your website btw :).

I have a slight predicament. I recently deleted iChat because I was having major issues with it. (was hanging OSX) I tried to use Pacifist to extract it off the installation CDs, but my disk 2 is damaged rendering it unreadable.
Is there any other way possible of getting ichat back?
I must also note that I also deleted the receipt copy by mistake. :(
thanks,
Bran

I will hopefully be getting a 2010 mac mini today (as seen in my other thread) and have been looking for ram. Newegg has it for about 107 but on a whim i checked out amazon and found some nice kingston ones, but they are no longer on sale.
Found these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003NYISCC/ref=ord_cart_shr?ie=UTF8&m=A1C0E2G2LZFK00 and was wondering how they would work in the mini. It says it works with my kind and it is a 10600 and what not, but I am not sure about all the extra stuff on it.

If you copy by burning a dvd along with the itunes library data couldn't you just drop it into the itunes folder? Otherwise if you just transfer the music folders it seems you'd lose all your changed info.....comments, genre etc. I for one would really hate do redo the info on thousands of songs.
Marlene
That's true that you would lose any info that isn't stored inside the music file itself (i.e. in the ID3 tag of an MP3) - I prefer to have iTunes open and drag the info to iTunes so it finds it and imports it immediately. Using your method, I'd have to do the copy while iTunes is closed, then open iTunes and hope it sees the new music library.

I know a lot of people are worried about not receiving their copy by the 26th, though - as am I.
Guess we'll see, but I have confidence Apple can manage to mail a disc in time. I'm just wondering if they are planning on overnighting them or trying to time it out via slower mail. Overnighting probably wouldn't be that expensive for them with their quantity discount and for such small packages. At least I have the benefit of being in major city, a couple miles from the airport, and within walking distance of the distribution centers for USPS, UPS and FedEx. :)

Another factor I think that effects the different resale value is the fact that the MBP is portable.
Since the MBP is carried around there is a high chance that it had a small bump or two. Which lowers the resale value. While the MP is in a single place (for most people) and thus the case is still in "perfect" condition.
Another thing is that the MBP has a battery that after a few recharge cycles it would start to deteriorate thus reducing it's functionality and resale value. Depending on it's cindition the buyer would need to send the MBP to Apple to have it replaced extra cost on the buyer.
This is what I think. If I would buyer a second hand MBP I would take these factors into consideration apart from the usual dilemmas about it's CPU and the rest.

Hi all,
Can anyone give me your personal thoughts on the 20" iMac?
Hi,
the iMac 20" is a powerful machine, with a nice design. Comfortable RAM (1Gb or above) is a must. My only comment: it can be kinda noisy because of the fans (and not only the faulty 1st revision), which is some time annoying because it's in front of you, on the desk (instead of under the table, obviously).

If you loose your phone, you'll have to buy a new phone. And it will cost you close to retail price if you are still on a contract.

Are either of these options possible?
1. He sends the iPhone 4 32GB to you, and you have to give the post office employee the iPhone 4 16GB in exchange for the one he sent you?
2. He refunds the 100au or so difference between the iPhone 32gb and the one he sent you?

I don't think they will let you have the iPhone 3G S until 8am because that's what it says on Apple website. For 5th avenue store it is different, but for stores in malls are they going to change the mall hours to accommodate lines forming or will people only be allowed in at 8am? My mall doesn't open until later than 8am on Friday, does this mean my Apple Store won't be participating in the 8am opening and will simply open when the mall does?
Thanks.
Thanks.

They look great all lit up. I've tried to draw the Apple logo in the past and I find it hard, never mind to actually carve it into something (it could be just my crappy drawing though :D).

You CANNOT install windows 7 from an external drive.. Microsoft is to blame for this one as they prefer to have you install it from an internal drive.. I believe there is a way to get it to boot from a USB flash drive, but it requires a whole lot of tweaking to get it to work.. Not worth it, in my opinion.. OS X is a whole different story, however - that can be installed from virtually any external drive or flash drive.
its for my gfs parents they need ie to watch dabdate.com streaming. If I could get it to stream on os x I would do it in a heart beat even bought flip4mac.

OK, hello all!
I made this iMac switcher ad in After Effects, just before the 24" iMac came out. I should probably update it!
The music is IZ-US by Aphex Twin from the Come to Daddy EP (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=74775601&s=143444).
Enjoy :)
